This formula can be used to support health with or without symptoms. If symptoms are present, take 1 level teaspoon of the powder (8 capsules) three times daily.   1. The two “huang” herbs (huang qin and huang lian) in this formula are kind of nasty tasting. I think they work better if you taste them, but if that’s going to keep you from taking the herbs, best to order them in capsules.

    Tasting your herbs is good. Taking them is even better.
