This is another one of those formulas with a large dosage of a really bitter herb (huang lian). Works great for what it does of course, but it can be challenging for those who aren’t so crazy about funky tastes.
So, if you have any doubt, be sure to order the capsules rather than the extract powder. That way you won’t have to taste it. Good news is that, although I usually say that the powders work better, because the number of herbs in this formula is so small, the capsules are pretty good too.
