Sour tasting Schisandra (wu wei zi) makes your mouth water, but moistens other structures as well.

Intimate rejuvenation for women who want more!

~~NEW IMPROVED BLEND!~~

When a woman’s intimate structures get stretched out, there’s less grip, less sensitivity, and a lack of sensual intimacy.

“Vagex” stimulates blood flow through the intimate regions to achieve the goal of nourishing these dried and stretched-out areas of the body. Think of this like moisturizing dry skin to improve its elasticity and tightness.

“Vagex” also includes herbs to stimulate lubrication fluids and libido for women. These are the new-and-improved additions mentioned above.

While this formula softens the skin and moisturizes intimate structures, it also contains herbs to guide its affect to the intimate areas.

Bring back that loving feeling, with Vagex!

Note: Avoid use if pregnant. This formula stimulates blood flow, which you don’t want if you’re pregnant. So avoid this formula unless you are being directed by a TCM professional to take it.

Ingredients:
Chi Shao :赤芍 red peony root Radix Peoniae Rubrae

  • Chi Shao is the red colored peony root. Red herbs tend to act on the blood (because blood is red). This herb stimulates movement of blood in the external genitalia to keep it supple and flexible. It’s also cooling and that can address feelings of frustration or impatience, while at the same time regulating hormones to help nature do what comes naturally.

Wu Wei Zi :五味子 schisandra fruit Schizandrae Fructus

  • The literal translation of this herb is “five flavor fruit” and so it is said to have a complex taste with many medicinal functions. However if you actually taste it, the strongest of the five flavors is sour. Your mouth will water profusely. The good news is this sour flavor stimulates lubrication for intimate activities as well. If you’re feeling dry downstairs, taking this herb in a formula will change that.

Su Mu :蘇木 sappan wood Sappan Lignum
Yu Jin :鬱金(郁金) turmeric tuber, curcuma tuber Tuber Curcumae, Curcumae Radix [Pregnancy Note]

  • These two herbs promote the movement of “Liver qi and blood” which improves elasticity. They’re also used to help hasten the healing of sore tissues from a size mismatch between man and woman, in case that’s an issue for you. Yu Jin is the cooking spice turmeric, incidentally.

Chuan Xiong :川芎 Sichuan lovage root, cnidium, chuanxiong root Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong

  • Chuang xiong is a spicy little number that moves the blood. This herb acts to keep the blood unstuck and flowing well through the vessels. That’s our key strategy with this formula. Get the intimate structures better nourished by the blood.

Shu Di Huang :熟地黄 cooked rehmannia root, prepared Chinese foxglove root Rehmanniae Radix preparata [Pregnancy Note]

  • Shu di huang is a thick black herb that grows deep into the ground. This root depth suggests that it can nourish very deeply. This is of great benefit to the reproductive system because it supports ample libido, secretions, and tight flexible reproductive structures.

Yin Yang Huo :淫羊藿 aerial parts of epimedium, horny goat weed Herba Epimedii; Epimedii Herba
Tu Si Zi :菟絲子 Chinese dodder seeds; cuscuta Cuscutae Semen [Pregnancy Note]

  • These two herbs are safe and effective for improvement of libido. These two herbs are best teamed up with a moistening herb such as Shu Di Huang above. The Shu Di Huang provides material (yin) while these herbs stimulate intimate heat (yang) to burn that material. The outcome of this herbal combustion is improved libido.

Dang Gui :當歸 tangkuei, Chinese angelica root Radix Angelicae Sinensis [Pregnancy Note]

  • Dang gui is probably the most famous of all herbs associated with woman’s health. Women benefit from its blood nourishing and circulatory functions. Western medicine looks to hormonal regulation to explain dang gui’s actions.

Ku Shen :苦參 sophora root, flavescent sophora root Radix Sophorae Flavescentis [Pregnancy Note]

  • This herb is used for certain types of wet skin conditions that you might find between the legs, however in this formula, a lower dose is used which serves to actually guide the affects of the other herbs directly to the vaginal region.

Chuan Niu Xi :川牛膝 cyathula root Cyathulae Radix [Pregnancy Note]

  • This is another herb that is said to guide the functions of a particular formula to the vaginal region. While Ku Shen above works more superficially to stimulate softening of the skin and external structures, this Chuan Niu Xi works more deeply at the level of the hormones (or as we say in Chinese medicine, the “blood”) to direct this formula to the areas most important for satisfying intimacy.

  1. Note: Avoid use if pregnant. This formula stimulates blood flow, which you don’t want if you’re pregnant. So avoid this formula unless you are being directed by a TCM professional to take it.

Note: this formula is also used to regulate the menstrual flow (same action as above, actually). If you find that your menstrual flow becomes heavy while taking this formula, just stop taking it during your period. Others however will find that cramps improve or other menstrual irregularities become more “regular”.

  2. This formula doesn’t work overnight, though you may notice its effects at night. :) Give this formula anywhere from two weeks to two months to achieve your goals. It’ll work quicker for those who are younger, and take a little longer for those who are older. More at the Prognosis-O-Matic.

Hi Al: I love your website…loads of info, with touches of great humour…just love it! A question: I’m an acupuncturist in BC, Canada. My mom is 86 and has suffered with atrophic vaginitis for years. Have you used Vagex for this problem? Thanks, Anita

  4. Hi, Anita. I haven’t treated A.V. specifically with this formula, but the symptoms line up very well with the treatment principles which are to nourish the blood (addressing dryness) and stimulating micro-circulation (addressing hardness and discomfort). Makes a lot of sense to me, especially if her tongue is pale. If it is deep red, we’re still okay, because some of the blood moving herbs in this formula also clear heat.

You know, in China there is a modern trend that addresses all aging as blood stagnation. Even biomedicine gives baby aspirin to elderly as a preventive for heart disease. Still, much of the benefits of baby aspirin is to address the so-called “inflamaging” which is the theory that inflammatory responses at the level of micro-capillaries is what causes much of what we call the aging process. For this reason, cool or cold blood movers (anti-inflamaging herbs) used as a dietary supplement for the elderly makes a lot of sense.

Only thing I would watch out for is if she is also taking blood thinning drugs. These blood moving herbs might cause too much blood thinning. If she’s only taking some baby aspirin, this formula is okay to take.
