Huang Qi – Astragalus (Astragalus membranaceous)
Dang Shen – Codonopsis (Codonopsis pilosula)
Bai Zhu – Atractylodes (Atractylodes macrocephala)
Dang Gui – Tang-kuei (Angelica sinensis)
Gan Jiang– Prepared Ginger (Zingiberis officinalis)
Gan Cao – Licorice (Glycyrrhiza uralensis)
Bai Shao – Peony (Paeonia lactiflora)
Mu Xiang – Saussurea (Jurinea souliei)
Wu Mei – Mume (Prunus mume)
Da Fu Pi – Catechu (Acacia catechu)
Yan Hu Suo – Corydalis (Corydalis bulbosa)

  • This formula is commonly used for gastric and bowel issues. Anyone with serious bowel issues should check with their physicians for a full western diagnosis.
Adult Dosage

This formula can be used to support health with or without symptoms. If symptoms are present, take 2 level teaspoon of the powder (or 4 capsules) three times daily. When symptoms are not present, take 1 level teaspoon (or 2 capsules), two times daily. An empty stomach is best for efficient absorption, but not essential.
