Eagle Herbs was founded to help you find the right Chinese herbal granule or capsule formula for your health condition. We make classic formulas but specialize in custom prescriptions, made fresh right here in Southern California, USA. Our custom granules and capsules can’t be found from big warehouse stores — we don’t sell on Amazon, Facebook, eBay, or anywhere else. Only here. We’ve been going for more than 15 years, and we have a lot of content tucked into the nooks and crannies of this site, so explore.

Please read before ordering: due to the nature of our services, we have a no-refund policy . We make each formula for you fresh from the individual herbs. This lets us offer a wide range of formulas as well as customize your formula — it also means a returned item, even unopened, can’t be resold.
You can pay by credit card or PayPal. To place an order, go to the cart (upper right of the page). We don’t keep any credit card information on our site. Asking “What do you have for a rash?” or “What formulas treat my shortness of breath?” isn’t enough for me to make suggestions. If you want a full consultation, you can pay for one below.
Consultations run 15 to 60 minutes by telephone or email and include follow-up by email or phone. You’re welcome to email me first — I may ask you to send a picture of your face and tongue.
My name is Douglas Eisenstark. I’ve been licensed in California since 1996 in acupuncture and herbs (L.Ac.). Since that time I’ve been treating patients and teaching at Emperor’s College and Yo San University in Los Angeles. Eagleherbs was started by Al Stone, and when he passed on, he passed it on to me.
If you’ve searched the web for Chinese herbs, you’ve undoubtedly come across American Dragon . Joel was a friend of mine. I made this YouTube video as a tribute to him and as an explanation, for consumers, of the herbal side of American Dragon.
My friend Al Loren Stone, who started Eagleherbs, also started Acupuncture.com — the first acupuncture site on the web, just as Eagleherbs was for herbs. He sold Acupuncture.com and later created gancao.net , which has a lot of interesting stuff on it.
