  • Because this herb’s name is in the name of the formula, that denotes that this is the most important herb in the formula. Not necessarily the largest dosage, though.

Qiang Huo 羌活 notopterygium root, chiang-huo Rhizoma et Radix Notopterygii

  • This is an herb that is used to clear the head and push out the common cold.
