This is a very strong formula to tonify Yin and Yang.
According to ITM Online “Erxian Tang was developed at the Shuguang Hospital affiliated with the Shanghai College of Traditional Chinese Medicine during the 1960s. It was reported in the college’s textbook Fangji Xue (Study of Traditional Chinese Medical Formulas) that was published in 1975″.
It was developed to treat certain forms of hypertension and then was used for both menopausal symptoms and male fertility issues. Use this formula with caution as it can be very warming.
