This is an amazing formula that addresses a somewhat low-grade, but messy digestive disharmony. In particular, it addresses hesitant stoolย that can’t quite fully come out. Not exactly a life-threatening condition but still uncomfortable.

Ingredients

Bai Zhu ็™ฝๆœฏ , bai shu ovate atractylodes, (white) atractylodes rhizome [supports pregnancy]

Ren Shen ไบบ่”˜ ginseng root Radix Panax Ginseng made from real ginseng

Gan Cao ็”˜่‰ licorice root Radix Glycyrrhizae [caution]

Fu Ling ่Œฏ่‹“ sclerotium of tuckahoe, China root, hoelen, Indian bread Poria Cocos

  • The first four herbs that make up this formula all regulate the efficiency of the digestive processes. These four herbs, used alone are actually a stand-alone formula called Four Major Herb Combination.

Mu Xiang ๆœจ้ฆ™ costus root, saussurea, auklandia Aucklandiae Radix

  • This is an herb that regulates the peristalsis in the large intestine. In other words, it supports that large intestine’s function of pushing out bowel movementsย in one movement rather than hesitant sloppy, smeary pieces. Mu Xiang is also good for bloating, which is another indication of compromised intestinal regulation.

Ge Gen ่‘›ๆ น kudzu root, pueraria Radix Puerariae

  • This is our friend from the South, Kudzu root. We love kudzu at Eagle Herbs! In this particular formula, it serves to firm up the stool. This is the same function for Kudzu as we find in Ge Gen Huang Lian Huang Qin Tang.

Huo Xiang ่—ฟ้ฆ™ Pogostemonis/Agastaches Herba/Patchouli Pogostemonis/Agastaches Herba [supports pregnancy]

  • This is the herb that does the heavy lifting in this formula. It is often added to formulas to dry up “gummy” stools. I would also describe these stools as smeary or slightly wet that require a lot of paper to clean up. You may note that this herb is called “patchouli”. Yes, this is related to the herb that goes into fragrant stove-top home remedy to eliminate odors (or add a pleasant smell). In fact it is this aromatic quality that is said to help dry the poops. The “aromatic” quality in herbs are said to “pierce through turbidity”.

DOSAGE:

Eagle Herbs is now supplying a 2 gram “little spoon”. (Please wash and dry before using.)

An “average dose” is 10 grams per day of the granules or 20 capsules.

A Big Dosage for Short-lived but intense issues: 3 littleย spoons (12 capsules) twice a day.

A Smaller Dosage for Lingering low-grade concerns: 2 little spoons (8 capsules) twice a day.

If you are very sensitive to medicines: start out low (1/2 little spoon or 2ย capsules) once per day, and raise the dosage each day.

We find that people find the right dosage for themselves: what feels good for them and they get the results they are looking for.

Your order will last approximately this long:

  • 100 grams powder (capsules or powder): 8 to 25 days
  • 200 grams powder (powder only): 19 to 56 days
