Abdominal Pain
In Chinese medicine, the “abdomen” indicates the area below the epigastrium and above the pubic bone.
Abdominal pain is caused by internal organ pathologies that include such biomedically defined conditions as gastrointestinal tract ulcer, enteritis, appendicitis, cholecystopathy, peritonitis, pancreatitis, urolithiasis, intestinal intussusception, intestinal adhesion and gynecological pathology, etc.
Abdominal pain due to excessive pathogenic factor: acute onset, severe pain which is resistant to pressure or touch.
