This is the go-to formula for bodyย aches and pains especially on the back. Often times, but not always, these pains are aggravated by cold and/or damp weather . The theory is that cold or damp qi from the environment get into the acupuncture channels which then prevent the free flow of qi-energy and blood (which causes pain!)
This is a standard formula for bi (pain) patterns or low back pain because it can be given for a long timeย without depleting qi or yin.
In western medicine term we might look to helping with symptoms associated with back pain, arthritis, rheumatism and lumbar pain.
