Zhang Jing-Yu, in the Ming Dynasty, used this formula to “boost qi and blood circulation, strengthen the heart, and calm the spirit—skillfully linking heart, spleen, kidney, qi, blood and brain”.
Because this formula has Ren Shen and Gan Cao which may raise blood pressure in the right (wrong) conditions we offer a modified version with milder ingredients.
