This is a variation of Zuo Jin Wan (often called 6 to 1 powder) that is used for h-pylori infection. Wikipedia says of “Zuojin Wan (左金丸) is a yellowish-brown pill used in Traditional Chinese medicine to “quench liver-fire, regulate the stomach function and relieve pain”. Indications include an “attack of the stomach by liver-fire marked by epigastric and hypochondriac pain, bitterness in the mouth, heartburn and acid regurgitation, and a dislike for hot drinks””

This formula can be used to support health with or without symptoms. If symptoms are present, take 1 level teaspoon of the powder (8 capsules) three times daily.
