Description

This is the second in the weight loss formulas. It targets the waist rather than an overall heaviness.

This contains a small amount of Ginger (Sheng Jiang) to promote healthy bacteria (microbiome) in the gut.

Bai Zhu benefits the spleen/ pancreas which of course is vital to the bile and acids for the digestion.

Chai Hu and Bai Shao (along with Yu Jin) to move the liver creating a calming effect on the entire body and emotions. Bai Shao is said in Chinese Medicine terms to “soften the liver” (which is to make no claims about its effect on Western diagnosis of liver disease).

Ban Xin and Chen Pi are a combination for Damp Accumulation.

Shan Zha is a well know digestive.

I have purposely left out really bitter herbs which can be beneficial to drain damp but can be harmful when taken long term. That said, some bitterness isn’t bad. This can be in the form of “Swedish Bitters” or vinegar based or fermented foods to help the digestion.

And I would suggest buying a small amount at first rather than buying 5 bottles right off the bat. (Not a very good sales pitch I know.) If your body likes them then you order more. 

The FDA has lots of rules against making “disease claims” which I think is a good thing for the most part. Interestingly enough the FDA has no prohibition against advertising Weight Loss products in any form (as long as they are safe of course).
